People all around the UK are facing less disposable income week by week. With companies going bust all over and unemployment likely to double, can you afford not to make savings by switching service providers? the average household can make savings around £5,000.
Many people are stuck in their ways when it comes to their energy, mobile phone, internet providers. They assume they are getting better deals for staying with the same company year after year. The somewhat shocking news is that they aren't, people can expect better deals if they switch providers as most companies now reward the new customers better than they do their existing.
This information is elementary, comparing quotes is one of the oldest tricks in the book and should be practised by everyone on a regular basis. It is very unlikely that you will find the best deal in your first enquiry.

Beyond your means?
Why is it that people will spend more money each month than they actually have? They know full well that they will be charged at excessive rates, yet they still make that trip to the ATM and withdraw even more money.
I think the majority of people are living in tomorrow's pay packet, always thinking that they can overspend this month but then take it easy the month after. But, do they then take it easy? No. A reason will always arise for them to spend money; maybe a night out, someone's birthday or even something that you fancy for yourself and it is this kind of attitude that has landed us in this current economical crisis. People are living beyond their means and need to learn to curb their outgoings. They live for today and think that they can recoup any sensible living tomorrow

Tough times forever?
Have you got what it takes to get through this tough turbulant time? I know many wont but you just need to reduce your outgoings, yes this is the old cliche that you hear all the time but it really is the most effective. Stop paying that gym membership if you don't go and budget your week before hand to save that extra bit of cash.
Personally, I hate the term 'credit crunch'. Is this situation going to be in our childrens history books in years to come, just like reading about the wall street crash in America when you seen pictures of children playing with piles of money??
This is a nightmare, and we need to wake up sooner, rather than later.
