Beyond your means?

Why is it that people will spend more money each month than they actually have? They know full well that they will be charged at excessive rates, yet they still make that trip to the ATM and withdraw even more money.

I think the majority of people are living in tomorrow's pay packet, always thinking that they can overspend this month but then take it easy the month after. But, do they then take it easy? No. A reason will always arise for them to spend money; maybe a night out, someone's birthday or even something that you fancy for yourself and it is this kind of attitude that has landed us in this current economical crisis. People are living beyond their means and need to learn to curb their outgoings. They live for today and think that they can recoup any sensible living tomorrow
